Albert Constant Samyn, 86, Baldwin City, Kan. passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Morning Star Care Center, Baldwin City, Kansas.

Albert was born on October 18, 1935 in Olathe, Kan. to Edward and Mary (Soetaert) Samyn. He grew up in Olathe and lived in Williamsburg, Kan. before moving to Baldwin City. Albert married Frances Jane Buckley on September 28, 1957 in Overland Park, Kan. He helped his parents with their truck gardening business. Albert worked for Gus Broockerd, building homes, also working for Crowley Lumber Company in Olathe. He was a fireman for Overland Park before retiring after 23 years of service. Albert and Jane enjoyed attending music festivals. But most of all, he enjoyed watching and listening to Jane and their friends playing at jam sessions. Albert was preceded in death by his parents; wife Frances Jane and brother Hubert Samyn. He is survived by his daughters Karen (Tim) Chanay, Pomona, Kansas and Connie (Steve) Briar, Olathe, Kansas; son Michael (Linda) Samyn, Olathe, Kansas; brother Edward Lee (Debbie) Samyn, Ottawa, Kansas; sister Joanna Graves, Gardner, Kansas; eight grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren and two great-great-Grandchildren.

Visitation was June 27, 2022 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center, Gardner, Kansas 66030 (913) 856-7111. Graveside service was. Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Mt.
